We provide integrated services on multiple areas of Geoscience. Our partner laboratories located in Portuguese Universities use standardized, industry recognized methods. Our consultants' experience includes the whole geological column, from Precambrian to recent sediments in different regions of the World. All of our work is performed using standard routines and presented in digital format (on paper if requested) through a secure website and/or password blocked files.
Petroleum Geology
Petroleum asset evaluation
Need to evaluate the hydrocarbon value of an asset in a data room or bid round? We can interpret the available seismic, well data and assess the prospects in terms of volumes and geological risk.We also provide regional prospectivity reports.
Mineral exploration and metamorphic terranes
We can work with low-grade metasediments and sedimentary rocks associated with mineral ores - coal, rock salt, black shale-hosted mineralization among others.
Biostratigraphic campaigns and integration of vintage data
If you are preparing to drill a well we can advise on the sampling campaign. Oil&Gas companies often deal with vintage well reports which are difficult to harmonize with more recent data. Chronosurveys provides the service of re-interpreting old reports and other material, returning revised well tops, sedimentation ages, well correlation and other types of interpretation as requested.
Source rock analysis and thermal maturation
We provide a comprehensive array of analyses to evaluate source rocks and the thermal maturation of a Petroleum System. Services include kerogen typing, palynofacies, Total Organic Carbon (TOC), RockEval and Thermal Maturation (Vitrinite reflectance, organic matter fluorescence, spore color).
